About Angel

News and Alerts

Angel Learning is a course management system adopted by the WVMCCD for all classes. When you log into the system, you will see a listing of classes that you are teaching (faculty) or a list of classes that you are taking. (students)

To log into Angel go to this URL:  http://wvmccd.angellearning.com/frameIndex.htm

Both faculty and students log into Angel using the following conventions for username and password.

  • Your login name (username) is your datatel or student ID. Example:  John Doe with a student ID of 1234567 would enter 1234567
  • Your password is your 6 digit birth date. Example if John Doe's birthdate was June 10, 1976 his 6 digit password would be 061076. All student passwords have been reset to your birth date. .

Follow the links to "What's my user ID." at the bottom of the screen.

Note: Your ANGEL Username is your seven-digit student ID number. Do not include your initials when logging into ANGEL.

Systems Requirements

Web Browser

To access the full range of ANGEL features, the Web browser that you use should display frames, run Java 1.4.1 (or later) and JavaScript, and have cookies enabled. A no-frames mode of ANGEL is available.

Though you may have success with other Web browsers, system administrators have verified that the following browsers work best with ANGEL:

To use the Virtual Whiteboard in Angel, you will need to have the latest Flash Player. To get this player  go to http://www.macromedia.com/downloads/
